PEERS®, The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills, is a 14-16-week evidence-based social skills training program, for middle and high school students and their families. Developed by Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson at UCLA, this program has been implemented in over 35 countries.
Research has shown that teens and adults who are Autistic, ADHD, anxious, or have other social-emotional reasons for finding social connections difficult…have made positive progress from the PEERS® program.

What does the time commitment look like?
This program will be run as a hybrid program. We will meet in-person, for 2 hours weekly, with a small group of teens who want to grow in social and friendship skills.
Parents (aka home coaches) will receive their weekly training and group session online via zoom for 90 minutes per week.
At home and real life practice homework will accompany each week’s skill building focus. Approximately 1-2 hours homework weekly.
What is included in the PEERS® Social Coaching?
Our PEERS program includes a total of 2 initial intake interviews, 55 hours social coaching per family, PLUS 3 month check-in gathering in which our social coaching group (teens) get together for a 2 hour social event of their choice. This allows us to tweak skills, answer questions and celebrate victories!
We will have a secure Signal (app) chat for parents and another for teens. That way we can encourage and help one another in a simple manner. This is an optional feature. I will be present in both groups.
What will the financial committment look like?
The total cost for all that is included will be $2350 + GST for one student and their social coach. This includes the 16 week, a 3 month social gathering, and the intake process. The biggest consideration is time and motivation on your child’s parent and on you as a social coach.
